Pysanky: Adopting A Ukrainian Tradition
Learn the ancient tradition of decorating easter eggs known as Pysanky.
This tradition has been handed down through generations of the Ukrainian people.  It is a bit of a “DYING” art, so our Innisfail Art Club member, Maryanne Styner is committed to preserving the tradition.
Maryanne will take you through this process step by step, on a fun and easy path, turning an ordinary white egg into a beautiful piece of art.
“The first time I saw a Ukrainian decorated egg, I could think of nothing else.  It looked like a jewel.  I couldn’t believe that anyone could create them freehand.  That first sighting was 50 years ago and I am sill in awe!” Maryanne Styner
Join Maryanne learning new techniques on a delicate “canvas”. ..
The end result is “EGGsceptional”!
You will go home feeling a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge of learning an ancient art.
